Hi! I’m Kristina (or coach K)

My lifelong journey with athletics, fitness, and nutrition has been a true passion that fuels every aspect of my life. From the earliest days of my childhood, I immersed myself in the world of sports, savoring the thrill of competition and the joy of movement. While I dabbled in various sports, basketball stole my heart, and the lessons it taught me about hard work and discipline continue to shape my coaching philosophy.

As a former All-American college basketball player, I understand the profound impact that dedication and commitment can have on achieving goals. Today, that experience translates into a coaching approach that empowers my clients to embrace hard work and strive for excellence. I'm driven by the challenge of helping individuals who are ready to put in the effort and transform their lives.

My professional journey took me into the heart of college athletics, where I honed my skills as a Head College Basketball Coach. This chapter of my life deepened my understanding of human behavior, the power of setting goals, the obstacles that stand in our way, and the invaluable role of community in achieving success.

In my role as a Fitness Coach, my mission is to provide a safe and judgment-free space where clients can explore their aspirations, set ambitious targets, and embark on a path to achieve greatness. Through a collaborative relationship, I strive to help individuals unlock their potential and accomplish whatever they set their minds to.

I am also the host of the mindset podcast "Making Changes Breaking Barriers." With a deep-rooted desire to inspire positive transformation, I embarked on this journey to create a space where listeners could discover their inner strength and unleash their full potential.

Driven by a fervent belief that everyone possesses the power to break free from societal norms and live life on their own terms, in the Making Changes Breaking Barriers Podcast, I set out to share stories, insights, and practical strategies for navigating the challenges of personal growth. 

Having personally experienced the transformative impact of embracing authenticity and defying conventional expectations, I am dedicated to guiding others on their own path of self-discovery and empowerment.

Through engaging conversations, thought-provoking episodes, and heartfelt personal anecdotes, I aim to bring a genuine and relatable approach to the podcast. With each episode of "Making Changes Breaking Barriers," I aim to create a supportive community where individuals can find the inspiration and tools they need to make meaningful changes and shatter the limitations holding them back.

My Family

Where to begin…..we are a couple of strong, badass women who want to help you be the best version of yourselves. Cora and I have been married since August 2020, and yes, we got married right in the middle of the pandemic. You can see from the photo that our children currently are our two cute, little goldendoodles, Rascal and Cannon. We moved to Bend, OR in 2021 and have never looked back. If you should know anything about the two of us, it’s that when we have a dream, we chase it. And guess what? One of our biggest dreams is to positively impact as many people as possible by giving them the tools and resources to be the best physical and mental versions of themselves.
